Timeline
1996
Roberto Felippe, then a production manager at a local company, identified a market opportunity by providing technical assistance services directly to clients.
1998
Foundation of Equiplast in Urussanga, Santa Catarina, on February 2, 1998, initially focused on technical assistance and industrial equipment solutions.
2000
Expansion of activities into the manufacturing of industrial equipment, responding to client demand for more comprehensive and customized solutions. Equiplast began producing plastic products, including packaging and caps, strengthening the group’s industrial presence.
2010
Portfolio Expansion
Expansion of the portfolio with the manufacturing of 20-liter water containers for mineral water and the achievement of certifications in the plastics sector.
Creation of Urutampas
Launch of a brand specifically focused on cap and plastic packaging solutions, serving markets such as mineral water, beverages, cleaning products, and chemicals.
Expansion and Modernization
Continuous investments in infrastructure, technology, production processes, and management, increasing manufacturing capacity and enhancing quality control systems.
Nationwide Operations
Equiplast expanded its operations across Brazil, consolidating its position as a reference in industrial equipment and plastic solutions, with a focus on reliability, standardization, and specialized technical support.
2012
As part of its growth and consolidation journey, Equiplast expands its presence in Mercosur by exporting its first piece of equipment, marking a new chapter in its international expansion.
2015
Start of Water Container Manufacturing
Equiplast began manufacturing water containers for mineral water, expanding its presence in the plastic packaging segment.
National IQB Certification
Achievement of national certification by IQB (Instituto da Qualidade Automotiva), reinforcing the company’s commitment to quality, technical compliance, and product safety.
2020
Resilience and Operational Strengthening
Amid global challenges, Equiplast maintained active operations, reinforced internal protocols, optimized production processes, and strengthened client relationships, ensuring continuity, safety, and operational efficiency.
